I'm a full-stack developer and graphic design student based in Ottawa. I build things with React, Node, and Figma—usually focusing on making the functional feel intentional. You know what’s funny about Ottawa? It’s the capital of Canada, but most people think it’s Toronto. And you know what else is funny? Toronto thinks it’s the center of the universe. But enough about that—I've spent my time working across the stack, from Postgres and Java to frontend performance. I'm a firm believer that good software should be as delightful to look at as it is to use. When I’m away from the keyboard, I’m usually watching anime or clicking circles. I have over 1,000 hours in osu!, which is either a testament to my dedication or a cry for help. History and Achievements
- I’ve been building for the web since I was 12. What started as messing around with HTML and CSS eventually grew into a career working with React, Node, and Java.
- Studying graphic design has bridged the gap for me. I use Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator to ensure that my code isn't just functional, but visually cohesive.
- As a freelancer, I’ve delivered everything from e-commerce platforms to community hubs. Highlights include:
- A Gatsby-based storefront for a local bakery with integrated Stripe payments.
- A music streaming dashboard using Node and the Spotify API.
- A Discord-integrated community platform built with React and Firebase.
- I occasionally show up at hackathons to see what I can build in 24 hours.
